Your Retainer is your deposit. Payments plans are available and can be divided in up to 3 payments depending on the event date. All final balances need to be paid in full 1 week prior to the event. To reserve a date and time, you must sign a contract and pay a $200 retainer to reserve your event date – no exceptions! 

DEPOSITS:

Once your event is booked, that time slot is reserved for you and supplies for your event are ordered. We understand that life happens and things do not always go as planned; we do offer a cancellation credit honored for a period of 1 year toward your rescheduled event. Refunds are not issued in the event of a weather-related issue or natural disaster in which it becomes impossible to deliver.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Some designs can be created on “single-use” framework; this allows the customer to waive the breakdown fee and dispose of the balloons themselves. 
For the safety of everyone, only Evelyn Occasions and her team are allowed to move the equipment, decor pieces and breakdown. If custom pieces like signages are attached to our equipment, it will be safely removed by our team and given to you after the event is completed.

Breakdown & Removal:

A security deposit is required for the rental of single equipment and will be returned in the same payment method as long as the item is brought back in the same conditions in which it was rented. Individual rental items may include marquees, backdrops, ball pit, bounce house, tables etc. Our minimum for individual rental items is $200 + delivery fees based on availability.

Individual rental ITEMS:

Proposals are based on information provided from the client regarding project requirements. Actual cost is subject to change once all project elements are finalized or negotiated. Proposals are valid for 7 days and are finalized with a payment plan based on the client needs.

Proposals:

If a rush order is requested (less than 14 days before the event date), a rush fee of $200 or 10% of the total invoice over $2,000 will be charged. The non-refundable balance must be paid in full the day of booking or date will not be secured. Please note that a short turn around may not be available for certain items. 

Rush Orders:

Mock-up designs provide a visual for the design of your event prior to set-up. This service is complimentary for booked events, per the request of the client. Mock-ups are available for purchase prior to booking. Virtual mocks-up can only be requested up to 14 days before the event date.

Mock-Ups:

Installation and breakdown fees start at 15%. A 2 hour minimum is required for all installs. Delivery and set up fees vary, depending on the complexity of the set-up which may require additional work hours, travel time, truck rental and staff. Access to the event location must be secured and confirmed by the client to ensure timely set-up. Evelyn Occasions cannot be held responsible for delays or incomplete décor if a reasonable amount of time is not allowed to complete the décor service. Many of the balloons will arrive inflated, but there may be times an electric outlet is required to complete the design. We will coordinate with you as to the best scenario for your event. We want your designs to look its absolute best!

All re-usable equipment, including but not limited to frame, lighting, florals, poles, fabric, centerpieces stands etc., are the property of Evelyn Occasions and must remain onsite for pickup at a specified time and date.

The client is responsible for all losses due to theft, vandalism, misplacement, or damage. If our equipment is damaged, misplaced, stolen or not returned for any reason, the client will be billed for the repair or replacement cost of the item(s). Depending on the décor, we may be able to build décor items onto disposable equipment that can be purchased during the booking process. Otherwise, a return pickup fee for all décor items that require breakdown and pickup will apply.

Installation & Breakdown:

Our professional quality balloons are air-filled with a machine and will not float; however, most arrangements can last several months in an indoor, climate controlled environment, away from direct sunlight. There are times the designer will recommend a special non-toxic exterior solution to increase the shine and longevity of your balloons to prevent them from appearing dull as quickly. Please avoid touching the balloons once the solution is applied. 

Balloon Longevity:

All color and/or design changes will need to be requested no later than 14 calendar days before the date of service. Additional costs will apply if the client still requires a color or design change after the 14 calendar day time frame.     

Décor Changes:

Our mission is to make your event and our balloons look great. If we are unable to complete the décor as designed and planned due to unforeseeable circumstances at the event venue, or due to client preference, we will assess a change fee if we incur any additional labor or material expense as a result of such changes. Venue rules and regulations of all event sites are the responsibility of the client. The client shall provide a copy of all pertinent rules to us prior to securing our services.               

On-site Changes:

Evelyn Occasions will not guarantee any outdoor décor. Though steps will be taken to minimize the effects of outdoor elements, despite best efforts and use of the highest quality balloons in the industry, outdoor décor is subject to damage by weather. In direct sunlight, balloons will expand and may burst within hours. In cold environments, balloons may deflate quickly. Darker colors change faster taking on a velvety texture, clear balloons will become cloudy and foil balloons subject to the outdoors and will not last as long. REFUNDS ARE NOT ISSUED IN THE EVENT OF A WEATHER-RELATED ISSUE OR NATURAL DISASTER MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO DELIVER. You will be given the option to reschedule your event within 365 days from the original delivery/installation date at the convenience of Evelyn Occasions without any additional fees.

Phone consultations are available at no charge. On-site consultations may be requested for $200 by appointment only. On-site consultations allow for 1 hour in which the venue rules, design and color options will be discussed. Additional travel fees may apply. 

SITE CONSULTATIONS:

For your convenience, payments can be made online via  HoneyBook.com using a valid credit card or a bank account. Otherwise payment is to be made by cash, Venmo or Zelle.

INVOICES:

As permitted given the extent of the law, the renter will be responsible for risk of theft, damage, loss, or destruction of the Equipment from any and every cause. If while in the Renter's possession the equipment becomes damaged, the Renter will be responsible to pay for any and all costs of repair, up to the current value of the equipment. If while in the renter's possession the equipment becomes lost, the renter agrees to pay the owner it's current value.
